Its that time of year again! Let's celebrate your dog in true festival style, with a show capturing the essence of a festival vibe.... minus the music and the narcotics!
On entry, collect your festival wrist band along with your goodie bag, before browsing the stalls and entering as many classes as you can.
At 12 noon there is a doggy Fancy Dress Competition with the theme of Festival, this may be your dog's favourite music icon, or a reggae rockstar or simply your dog wearing a flower crown. The more creative and original the better!
There will be all the usual fun classes like Loveliest Lady, Most Fabulous Fella, Best Rescue, Golden Oldie and a Puppy Parade, for all those cute canines.Then there are the obedience classes like Rally Obedience, Best Trickster, Musical Sits, Festival Alley and Best Ball Catcher.
Plus we have a Festival Obstacle course to have-a-go at, and new this year is Flyball, the super fast action sport that you can have-a-go and watch your dog fly!
And as if this isn't enough, there is a raffle with some pawsome prizes to be won, an Instagram stand to take festival photos, and demonstrations through the day. With over 20 stalls selling dog products and services, there is something for everyone! And not forgetting the food and drink, we have a great selection from donuts and cakes to pizza, nachos, burgers and ice cream with coffee and puppachinos for the fur kids.
The Dogstival opens at 11am until 4pm, its free entry and everyone is welcome, especially those with four paws!
