Derbyshire Dog-Stival was a great event, attracting lots of visitors despite the great British weather.
The annual event took place on Holmebrook Valley Park, Chesterfield on Sunday 24th September 2023.
There was a variety of classes from Best Ball Catcher, Rally Obedience, Puppy Parade and Festival fancy dress competiton to name a few.
A new addition was the have-a-go at Flyball by Peak Performers Dog Sports, and the festival themed obstacle course complete with tipi, seesaw and flower bridge.
There were lots of fabulous stalls selling dog products and services, grooming demos and delicious food. A great atmosphere, a stunning Instagram stand, a great raffle and lots of beautiful rosettes and lovely prizes were won.
A big thank you to everyone who attended, and all the amazing volunteers who made the day a great sucess!
Derbyshire Dog-Stival was featured in the Derbyshire Times both the paper and online versions. All images featured were captured by the talented photographer Nick Rhodes.
Easter Sunday saw a fun filled afternoon of hunting for the bunny! It was a small event held for DDS training clients and public to join in and have a bit of fun. Folllowing the hunt we played games and the fur kids got to sniff out lots of smelly treats and eat them up! It was a hoppy Easter!
Following a successful Canine Carnival, Derbyshire Dog Services wishes to thank everyone who attended with their fur babies, and all the amazing volunteers on the day! There were lots of creative and colourful Canines in the Fancy Dress Parade, we had lots of entries in the Lovliest Lady Competition and other classes, and great fun in the Water Park and Obstacle Course. Here are some photos from the day, see if you can spot yourselves or your fur babies!
