Sorry for my delayed 2021 Blog post, Its been a roller coaster ride and we are only 13 days into the new year. What with Tier 4, then Lockdown and who knows when we will be able to resume dog training!
However on a positive note, I'm looking forward to meeting lots of new pups, hosting some pawsome events, enjoying some incredible dog walks in the beautiful Peak District, and being a part of many fur kids and their pawrent's educational journey's.
Without giving too much away, I am hoping to get Paddle Pups up and running by the Spring/Summer. This was something I already had organised prior to Lockdown 2, but had to put it on hold. It is a four week swimming course, aimed at introducing pups to water for fun and learning to swim. As soon as this is allowed again, I will be announcing dates and group sessions.
Training will be seeing some new dynamic courses, all based on having fun with your dog whilst learning new behaviours and creating strong bonds. I only teach force free, ethical and science based training methods, and like to keep groups small and interactive.
Dog walking will be taking a slightly different approach, as competition is currently high in the Derbyshire area. So if you are looking for something a little more enriching, and for longer duration, I am hoping to arrange some half day Peak District walks for small groups of dogs.
Pupster Parties are a great way to celebrate your fur babies birthday's, or just an excuse to have cake and lots of dogs chasing each other around a field. I will be adding to my decoration box and pawsome photo booth, to make hosting your pawty a true doggy delight. Pawsonalised cakes and home made dog biscuits always go down a treat!
Pet Pawtraits are a lovely gift, and special way to capture your loved ones unique character's. Oil paintings are a particular speciality, however I can use other mediums if you prefer. I only create pawtraits when requested, as it is a luxury past time for me rather than a full time career. Commissions are welcome, and payments can be made in stages if required.
I am also planning on hosting more Puppy Socials, which were a big hit earlier last year, and some fun filled activity days for you and your fur friends... so watch this space!
